Mission

Armour Goaltending’s mission is to provide a BALANCED Development experience for our goalies.This approach is at the core of our on-ice coaching objective but extends beyond the rink.

We believe in teaching our athletes to:

Set realistic goals while still dreaming big

Passionately chase their Hockey goals while stressing importance of education

Develop “self-ownership” and accountability with the understanding that perfect is not possible
Be humble with unwavering confidence

On the ice we will :

  • Establish and refine structure while preparing our goalies for when the game dictates to “let it go”;
  • Teach our students proper execution of positional saves while maintaining emphasis on athleticism reactivity and feel;
  • Encourage and develop methodical, smooth mobility without forgetting that speed is necessary to play at the highest levels.

It’s about balance – At Armour Goaltending, we implement a solid and reliable foundation for our athletes to build on, while encouraging the individual to develop THEIR own growth mindset and identity.
